Everything was perfect. The room/bathroom was exceptionally clean and well maintained, the provision of robes, slippers, face flannels, hi-viz waistcoats for the walk into town is, in my experience, unique for a B&B. The provided toiletries were good quality, the shower was excellent and the bed very comfortable, what else can I say about the room. The breakfast is wonderful; a real a-la-carte breakfast (booked the night before) made with fresh local produce; I couldn't fault it. I was part of a larger party who booked a meal plan, and the dinners, also booked in advance, were real restaurant quality. The lounge area was truly excellent for our party too. Rachael and her family team were tremendous - friendly, very efficient, both in the pre-stay arrangements and during our stay, and very professional, nothing was too much trouble. I also tried the hot-tub and found t much nicer to use than the public one in my local health suite. If I am looking for catered, versus self-catered, accommodation in the Schull area, Corthna Lodge will definitely be my first choice.

We loved staying at Cortana Lodge. We knew It was a magical place the moment we turned into the long driveway, hugged by hydrangeas on both sides. The grounds were beautiful and the interior rooms rich and warm. Rachel, our host, was gracious and fun and her brakfasts delicious. were spectacular. We loved our stay!

Lovely place - almost had a BnB ‘resort’ feel with the gardens, hot tub, sauna, bar area. Lovely, present and accommodating hosts with excellent local knowledge. Great breakfast with local and homemade produce. Comfy bed and good shower. The dogs!

Corthna is set in beautiful gardens just outside the village of Schull. It's evident its a very loved home. Our hosts Rachael & family made us feel very welcome & provided us with all the local info. Our room was spacious & comfy. There's ample parking too. Breakfast was amazing with lots of added goodies such as a healthy juice shot. Home made delicious cake is available & you're able to make tea or coffee in the dining room as well as in your room too. It was a lovely four night stay. Thank you.

I cannot even express how absolutely fabulous Rachel's accommodation was. I was a single, female traveler and I felt so welcomed, safe and at home. Rachel is so very accommodating and is the perfect host. Her breakfast is just out of this world and truthfully, this is this the best air bnb I have ever stayed in!! P.s the bed was the best night sleep I ever had!!! I will be back xxxx

Warm welcome by the owner Rachel and her dogs! The room was very tidy and well equipped, and the bed was so confortable. But the highlight was the breakfast! We enjoyed everything from granola yoghurt and fruit shots, to Irish breakfast and vegan tofu & sausage dish.

It ia a feeling. It feels like a special place. It is the most relaxing, warm, calm accommodation I have ever had the privilege to "lodge" in. Rachael and her team do give visitors an exceptional experience on every level.
