Warm welcome by the owner Rachel and her dogs! The room was very tidy and well equipped, and the bed was so confortable. But the highlight was the breakfast! We enjoyed everything from granola yoghurt and fruit shots, to Irish breakfast and vegan tofu & sausage dish.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
It ia a feeling. It feels like a special place. It is the most relaxing, warm, calm accommodation I have ever had the privilege to "lodge" in. Rachael and her team do give visitors an exceptional experience on every level.

We loved our stay a Corthna Lodge! Hosts so friendly and welcoming, breakfasts delicous and rooms extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!

Excellent accommodation with a delicious fresh breakfast each morning cooked with top class ingredients. Nothing was too much bother & little things like a bathrobe & slippers, high viz vest & torch made Corthna Lodge an outstanding choice. The lounge & honesty bar were a fantastic bonus. I would have no problem recommending this location to anyone thinking of visiting the Schull area.

Very comfortable bed and room , great nights sleep. The atmosphere is peaceful with lovely gardens and fields . Excellent breakfast menu with local produce . Nice patio and our host was lovely.

Everything. Location was perfect and the house is just superb especially the communal areas such as the living room and the outdoor area.. Rachel was extremely kind and helpful, I highly recommend Conthra House for anyone passing by and in need of a place to stay for the night.

The location was perfect. Schull is beautiful and the property, accommodation was perfect. We had had the best time. Rachael is the best. Would highly recommend it and we would love to visit again.

Very friendly people, very helpful and flexible with my booking mistakes, absolutely lovely room and building, warm cosy fire, delicious breakfast, nice dogs....I really liked my stay and definitely recommend Corthna Lodge.

Oh, where do I start? :) My husband and I felt so at home - from the cozy fires in the evening, to the chef created farm to table yummy breakfasts, to the lovely sauna room, to their pets..... Our room was super compfy and cozy; we had everything we could have needed. Rachel and Kiernan (hopefully I spelled his name right!) are such genuine beautiful people - they really set the bar high for our first stay in Ireland! Now that we are home we joke about having them for dinner - so wish that could be possible. xo
